The monument was erected for him by Senator Scipione Bon who then signed it over to the Blessed Pacifico.
The front of the urn depicts the Descent of Christ into limbo and the Resurrection while Theological Virtues are held in the niches. The Baptism of Christ is inserted into the upper lunette and outlined by the pointed arch that is decorated with floral motifs and angel musicians.
At the top, there is a statue of the Virgin and Child, while the surrounding space, frescoed with the Annunciation and Saint Francis receiving the stigmata, is attributed to the mastery of Giovanni di Francia.
